On behalf of Opera Laboratori Fiorentini, ETT, a company within the SCAI Group, has kitted out Casa Eroica, a new exhibition space dedicated to the Eroica Brand. The grand opening coincided with the commencement of the 26th edition of L’Eroica, a cycling event that has captivated enthusiasts worldwide since its launch in 1997.

The exhibition consists of themed sections distributed throughout various rooms. Interactive workstations, animated art walls, immersive projections, and VR experiences, available in both Italian and English, guide visitors through the emotions and history of Eroica, offering insights into case studies and conveying its values.

The tour features a section dedicated to the Castelli di Gaiole, where a touch monitor delves into the history of castles in the area of Gaiole, identified on a map and selectable to the touch. Meanwhile, the immersive Mondo Eroica section provides an original and engaging experience through projections that immerse visitors in the captivating area of Gaiole in Chianti and its rich history. The “Nei Panni degli Eroici” section features two touch monitors that allow visitors to create their own avatar, choosing physical characteristics, clothing, and a background to compose a personalised digital postcard that can be sent via email. The “Le Voci degli Eroici” gallery narrates the story of key players in Eroica history through the video testimonies of participants. The “Locandine storie a colori” section captures the event’s allure through illustrations from over the years. An artistic display along the corridor showcases reproductions of bicycles and prints featured on the original paper event posters. On the opposite side, a large artwall displays historical posters publicising Eroica events, both in the Terre di Siena and around the world. Finally, the “In Volo su Gaiole” section includes virtual reality stations allowing visitors to fly over the castles of Gaiole in Chianti. In one corner, a Bike Shop has been replicated alongside an interactive workstation with a touch monitor, inviting visitors to select their preferred experience: the Eroica Bike Shop, where they can virtually create and customise their own bicycle, or the Eroica Quiz, a fun game designed to test their skills and improve their knowledge of the event.
