AExcellent Productivity, Reduced Costs, Maintenance

IThe project consisted of overhauling and restructuring the management systems of the ATM and Bancomat networks. SCAI ITEC actively contributed to defining a new application architecture from the initial design phase.

After receiving the technical and business requirements from the customer, SCAI

decided to adopt a micro-services-oriented approach as it was well suited to productivity needs (thanks to a significant improvement in time-to-market) while boasting reduced system development and maintenance costs. SCAI also defined and implemented a specific framework for the project. This powerful tool helped guide developers, resulting in the quick and easy implementation of all necessary infrastructure.

A modular, extendable and integrable framework

This modular and easily extendable framework is based entirely on Java Enterprise standards, which provide a wide range of connectors for integration with databases, SOAP services, and REST services, etc. The solution is able to reach its maximum potential thanks to an orchestration layer provided by a lightweight ESB (Apache Camel), through which the size and purpose of the various micro-services can be defined and the modes of interaction and aggregation can be managed.
