In recent years, the Cyber Security sector went through a period of massive changes. These changes were accelerated by a set of regulations at the European level that established obligations for companies thus “forcing” a change in perspective that had been postponed for far too long and by continuous cyber attacks – increasingly sophisticated – against which companies simply can no longer remain unprepared.
SCAI Puntoit named its intervention task force Taurus Security Team symbolising the city of Turin where the Group has its headquarters. The name is also a reference to the legend of a red bull that saved the city from a fearsome dragon. In fact, SCAI Puntoit developed a portfolio of integrated solutions against cyber threats designed to communicate with each other and featuring the defence service right in the middle of the protection architecture (SOC).

Support Stages
The Security Operations Center’s system includes comprehensive client assistance, from the preliminary analysis to ongoing monitoring of services and related reporting.
Initially, a preliminary assessment is carried out used for planning and implementing subsequent management and monitoring services. This is followed by an analysis of the state-of-the-art of the infrastructure in order to issue a gap analysis document with identification of a possible optimisation plan and related operational actions to reduce the Client’s operational risk.
The integration of the proprietary SCAI Puntoit or the Client’s SIEM with SOC services is followed by the activation on our ManageEngine platform and integration with Client’s TTS (e.g., TTS: Service Now, Remedy, etc.).
The service includes reports that allow to transparently verify managed incidents and tickets, but also to monitor global threat trends and verify agreed SLAs.
