On Thursday, 23 November, at Borgo Rocca Sveva in Soave, in the province of Verona, the Cloud Competence Center run by the SCAI Group, a partner of the four main Cloud Service Providers – Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud – organised an afternoon of in-depth analysis and discussion. The aim was to present services and solutions that support customers in innovative cloud projects across different areas and markets.
Marino Piroddi, CTO and CISO of the SCAI Group, set the stage by providing an overview of the Cloud market. He delved into the use of Public Cloud in Europe (Forrester) and in Italy, emphasising the technology’s advantages and outlining the mission of the Group’s Cloud Competence Center.
The event particularly focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), a platform experiencing rapid and constant growth. It also showcased exemplary case studies of customers who have successfully executed projects on AWS, Azure, and GPC in collaboration with the SCAI Group.
Roberto Longhi, the leader of the Cloud Competence Center, then facilitated a panel discussion involving customers and partners. The discussion delved into the strategies and challenges associated with implementing Data Warehouses in the Cloud.
