The SCAI Group’s Cyber Security Competence Centre Takes Centre Stage at the 2023 Global Assistance Convention

Sandro Repole, Cybersecurity Senior Advisor at SCAI Partners, received an invitation in his capacity as the Company’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to the 2023 Global Assistance Convention. The event, held at the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum in Arese on 26 September, was exclusively dedicated to the Company’s intermediaries, serving as a forum for exchanging new ideas, gaining insights, and showcasing professionalism.

His speech focused on outlining the role and responsibilities inherent in the SCAI Group’s CISO service, which is specifically tailored for a dynamic and rapidly expanding entity like Global Assistance. The discussion revolved around the Cybersecurity Strategy, in line with the Company’s forthcoming Business Plan. Additionally, it provided an opportunity to present the latest Cybersecurity-related data and statistics, particularly in light of Global Assistance’s substantial investment in IT tools serving its intermediaries.

Given the surge in Cyber attacks and the CISO’s responsibilities in this domain, beyond serving as a consultant and guide in the journey toward improving Information Security practices, the CISO actively contributed to safeguarding digital assets. This involved the management, identification, and mitigation of cyber risks. Against this backdrop, emphasis was placed on the crucial role of Security Awareness training as a weapon within the company’s arsenal to combat cybercrime.

The SCAI Group’s Cyber Security Competence Centre, once again, asserted itself as a cutting-edge service, playing a pivotal role in charting a strategic cyber security roadmap for its customers.
